My allergies have been a nightmare lately and prescriptions/OTC don't seem to be doing a thing for me. The only thing that ever worked were shots, but now I am booted from my parent's health insurance and can't afford them any longer ($1,500 per vial, 3 new vials every 3 months, ow!). So for the past few weeks of allergy hell, I've just been desparately trying different things.. Claritin, Clarinex, Singulair, Zyrtec, Benadryl, etc.. Many of them are 1 pill per 24 hours, which is like a joke to my allergies, so I started taking 1 in the morning and 1 at night. No improvement.

For the past 3 days I've been taking 2 of my weapon of choice in the morning, 2 at night and Dayquil/Tylenol in between. Finally seems to settle my allergies a little, however I felt absolutely POISONED when I woke up today. I had awful diarrhea & vomiting, constant cold sweats, blurred vision, weakness, headache and vertigo.. I had to take an ICE cold shower today because the warm water was making me so dizzy and nauseous. What made it worse was that it was my first day at a new job so there was absolutely no way I could call out sick, and by the time I got to take my break I was so dehydrated from sweating that I downed a bottle of ice cold water in no time.. which just upset my empty stomach even more. I'm still feeling absolutely horrible but I'm afraid to take anything more. Could this reaction be the result of taking entirely too many antihistamines? Or did I just catch a bug on the side from my lowered immune system? It seems like the flu to me, but what do I know! Thanks in advance for any replies!
