Allegra - Allergies Message Board

Has anyone taken this med and if so does it work? I have horrible allergies but my main symptom lately is just the congestion! Im hoping the Allegra will help with this but Ive heard the Zertec is suppose to be better for that

I took it for awhile but it made me dizzy. (One of the side effects,,,) I am taking Singulair and it's working great!

Unfortunatly everyone is differant. I was on 3 differant meds before we found one that worked for me. Plain Allegra doesnt have a decongestent in it, you might want to talk to your doc about a decongestent.

I have been having asthma like episodes and my doctor put me on zyrtec which did wonders. I ran out while on vacation so I have been taking allegra and my symptoms are comming back. IMHO I don't think it works that well. Hope this helps!
