| seek a host family for a french exchange student that have cat allergy

My name is Astrid. I'm working for a French organization that enables exchange students to spend a year in the US. My problem is that one of our candidate wants to be an exchange student in the US, but we have difficulties to find him a host family because he has pollen and cat allergy. That is why I'm triying to get an advise or find a host family who could host him from August - Septembre 2004 until June 2005 so I will need an answer quickly. If you have a family member who has this type of allergy, maybe it would be easier for you to understand me.
Please, help us to find a host family by talking to your relatives. I was an exchange student in 1998 - 1999. This french boy is so motivated that it would be a pitty if he could not go there.
