what does eczema look like? - Allergies Message Board

undefinedundefinedundefinedI am not sure that I have eczema or not. Just recently I have moved to California with my husband whom is in the Navy. I am staying out here while he goes to school. I have always had a clear complexion no acne or anything of the sorts. My face started to break out a week ago with just bumps all over with no space in between them. I am not sure what they are but I have been told several things. I have bad experiences with Navy Drs telling me one thing and that not being whats wrong with me and I want to be sure what exactly eczema looks like. I have looked at pictures on line and haven't really seen pictures that look anything to what I have. I even have been told it could be milia but I also looked up milia and the pictures plus discription isn't what my bumps are. I just want to have more of a background on exactly what it is I think I have before I go to the dr and he tells me I am full of it and that whole deal that i hate going threw. Please if anyone can help me it will be greatly appriciated.

It usually gets in the inside elbows, under side knees and in between fingers on elbows. It is red and inflamed looking, itches like crazy, gets scaley but it is ususally limited to an area like the inside of the elbow or a spot on the face, I have one the size of a dime that comes and goes, also inside the legs behind the knees where skin rubs skin mostly but can appear anywhere. So if you have intense itching, red inflamed area it may be eczema, it is allergy related.

Oh well mine is all over my face with dry spots along with these little bumps that almost look like a bunch of pimples or a really bad rash. They only itch some times not all the time but my face and ears are covered I don't have it any where else guess thats not what I have the only other thing I can explain is that it is malia.
