Hi there, thought I would put in my 2-cents on your questions. If you have full blown anaphylaxis, you would also need epi-pen and get to the ER soon for treatments. As anaphylaxis is not common as what I know, therefore I have rarely heard that people get anaphylaxis to other allergens. But people can get anaphylaxis even they are not allergic to any foods or allergens. Anaphylaxis can start at different severity... some quickly go into full blown shock where their throats are completely blocked, extremely low bp..., some might just have symptoms like swellings of throat (not completely), hives, low bp at the start. Food allergies can cause GI symptoms like crampings, diarrhea...etc. Faitgue, soreness, muscle crampings are some symptoms of allergies too. I've been thru that though not specifically food allergies.
What are some of the symptoms you get when you take food that you are allergic to? Other symptoms can be hives or rashes, GI symptoms...
