Hi Ashley, I won't say Claritin D is addictive though... But the nasal spray congestant could be addictive to some. And it's not advisable to use the nasal kind for too long in a period. Continue to take the Claritin D since it's working for you and not causing any side effects. I think it's safe to take the oral type for a longer period than the nasal spray type as long as you are on follow up with a doctor. I have taken the antihistamine + decongestant med for many months, though it doesn't work for me... still finding a suitable med.
