Many things that you consume, or that touch your skin, or that you breathe can cause allergy problems.
Have you limited your diet at all to rule out certain foods, like milk, or wheat, or corn, or beef, or vegetable gums, or sugar substitutes, or tomatoes, or oranges, or preservatives? You might consider going on a very restrictive diet for at least a week, to try to avoid a lot of food items, that could be adding to your misery. After a week, if your health got better, then you could start adding one thing back at a time to your diet, as long as that item didn't bring back your health problems.
Another thing you can do is stop using fabric softeners and regular detergents on your clothes. Fabric softeners contain many chemicals, which means that traces of those chemicals are touching your skin 24 hours per day, in your clothes and bedding and towels.
There are many other allergy tips, on how to avoid allergens that you can get through doing searches on the Internet.

I have also been diagnosed with chronic depression. I read somewhere in a few magazine that there are studies saying allergies are linked to depression because it is all controlled by the chemicals in our brains. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
My allergies and my depression steadily continue to get worse and I am running out of ways to fix both of them. I am tired of constantly feeling sick due to my allergies and tired of feeling mentally ill due to the depression. If you know anything, please let me know! thank you so much!

When you have an allergic reaction, your endocrine system pours out all kinds of chemicals into your blood. I always used to get high anxiety and depressed and go nuts when my allergies were bad. Two things that helped me were, vitamin C pills for my sinuses. While Vit C didn't unstuff me completely, it helped a little.
Also...... Vitamin B-complex 50mg, was great for my anxiety and depression. It leaves a taste in the mouth, but it worked great for me. I still take Vit B-complex with breakfast every morning.
