Tomorrow is the day my boys go for allergy testing, I guess I am nervous only because they are my abbies and anything that has to do with them going to the doctor, worries me to death....
I have so many questions, I don't know what to ask first.
I am curious though, and maybe you all know-If they find that one or both of my boys are allergic to something, what will they do after that? Will they have pills, or shots or will it depend on what they are allergic to? I am so confused, sorry
The treatment of allergies depends on lots of factors, like the severity, how easy it is to avoid the allergens, etc. You can start with the pills, but if you want to try a more long-term solution, then the shots are the way to go. It also depends on what your kids will tolerate. But the shots really aren't too bad. Just try to relax. It doesn't really hurt, and it will be over soon. Then you and the doctor can discuss treatment options.

If they have asthma and it's caused and triggered by allergies, asthma and allergy medicines will be given. Antihistamines will help control the allergy symptoms. Some people go for allergy shots to help with their allergy problem. Some find it works, some don't. All the best and hear from ya soon!
