I think your doctor was very perceptive to think you had a sinus infection. What antibiotics did you take? Sinus infections need strong drugs to cure. I'm suprised your doctor did not order a sinus CT to insure that the infection was cured. Sometimes the antibiotics cure the infection, but there is a blockage, so all the gunk never drains. This causes you not to feel any better and sets you up to get reinfected. Thick post nasal drip from allergies can also cause shortness of breath, so regardless of the results of the Pulmonary function test you should probably get tested. You can try taking Mucinex to thin out your post nasal drip. Also, drink LOTS of water, it will also help your post nasal drip to drain.
