Does anyone have allergies right now. For the last week I have been lightheaded (like my head is in a fog) and really stuffed up. About 2 days ago I got a cold and the fogginess is still hear. I have had it before and it was caused by allergies. Can anyone give me some info.
Yup...just beacuse it's not spring/summer doesn't mean allergies are done for the year...fall/winter just brings different stuff to be allergic to. Dust, mold, etc...people turn the heat on in houses...close up windows, dust accumulates, mold grows...allergens still exist...therefore, allergies are still a problem for some people, myself included..
I just had a similar thing happen to me. All summer I had been taking Allegra 180 and Nasacort with fairly good success, (minimal symptoms and no fogginess). On Nov 8th, weatherman said we had our first freeze and we could forget about allergies until next year. Man was he wrong! I stopped taking Allegra and Nasacort and for the past week I have been in misery. Fogginess is back, etc.! Before stopping I checked pollen.com and the pollen counts here in NC are very low, so I thought why not. I have no idea of what it is I am reacting to but today I restarted my Allegra 180ís and the Nasacort.
Keep moving, it makes it harder for the undertaker to catch you. Don
Well, here in AL it's because we haven't had but one real rain since Katrina. It's dry as toast out there and that's bad for allergies. Leaves dry out and crumple, the pieces float around in the air...the dust on my car is unreal...ugh!
I am also experiencing more lightheadedness in the last couple weeks, even though I take my meds year round. I am a bit perplexed about this also. And I am in Minnesota, and it's snowing. From what I understand lightheaded symptoms are usually caused by mold. I think molds are pretty much impossible to get away from.
