Pets and Allergiees

I am taking allegra and sudafed every single day to ward off any allergic reactions I mightcome upon. I'll be visiting my daughter who has a brand new puppy. And I know after a while, the dog smell will start to give me a headache, etc. Anyone know what I can take for that from experience?
