Difference between Rhinocort and Flonase?
My ENT recently switched me from Rhinocort to Flonase because he said your body will tolerate it better. He said that Rhinocort was much more powerful and that it might increase the risks of glaucoma. Does this sound accurate; I thought they were basically the same. Who knows, maybe he gets a bonus from his pharmacutical rep for the number of Flonase perscriptions!

Any thoughts?

My ENT switched me to rhinocort and said that I can actually take more of it safely than I can the flonase.

Actually, my doctor in the beginning gave me samples of both. I personally thought Flonase did more for me. Rhinocort didn't do too much & I didn't like it's smell/taste. Flonase is a little hard to tolerate at first, it burns, it stings, it hurts to smell afterwards. That's just my opinion, but they are both different steroids and some people just take to other formulas better.
