One time i broke out in a bad rash on my face. the rash was like on half my face form the top of my cheek to almost the bottom of my neck. Then it started itching really badly and then burning. Then my da told my to drink like half a glass of lemon juice and to drink it all in a gulp. Which I did and it was so bitter. then like half an hour later my mysterious rash was gone. it hasn't appeared since. I don't know how i got it since i am not allegic to anything so it was really werid.

Do you have a sore throat at all? Strep can often cause someone to have a face rash.

Hi there, when you mentioned face rash, the first thing that comes to my mind is the butterfly face rash that people with lupus get. The rash that you get may or may not be due to that. It might be an allergic reaction or something... I defenitely can't tell and you have to go to a doctor for a blood test on it. You can search online and see if you can find any pictures of the butterfly rash. The 'butterfly rash' is caused by sun exposure. Did you get it after sun exposure?

Anyone can have an allergy at any point in their life. It doesn't mean that you are allergy-free when you don't have it as a child. It's best if you can check it with a dermatologist if the rash appears a second time.

I didn't have strep throat and the allegic reaction i got never appeared again so i really don't know what caused it. And i didn't have any sun exposure that day.

I used to get face rashes (bright red) until I realized I had recently switched detergents. I used my old detergent (Tide) again, washed the sheets (always do a "double rinse"!) & the problem went away! Glad I discovered it was my pillowcase/detergent right away, before I went nuts trying to figure out what it was!
