Colored mucus in the morning

Only in the mornings for about a year and a half ever since i got this sinus infection i spit up yellow and green mucos every morning. I went to countless ents and they did ct scans and everything and the scans always came back normal. I had one culture my sinuses and found some bad bacteria growing in there. I went on a bunch of antibiotics and got rid of the first bacteria and a new one grew psuedomonas. I went on getamiacine nasal rinse for that and i still have symtpoms.

I went back to my ent and he scoped me and said you look fine and the sinus tissue looks normal. He told me that there is a few of you that have symptoms and we cant find anything wrong. Every morning though i get the nasty tatsing green and yellow mucos all day long my sinus hurt and burn they arent congested though. Could someone please tell me if they have an idea of what i have? By the way i have very bad breath that wont respond to anything.

Re: Colored mucus in the morning

I am convinced that there is a small group of us, that for whatever reason, don't exhibit a lot of inflamation, and even if they have a bad infection, it never shows up on the CT scan. Even with my surgery, my CT scan looked pretty good. The ENT was only going to operate on a turbinate, he wasn't even going to touch my sinuses. But I and my allergy doctor persisted, so the ENT agreed to open up my maxilary sinus and "just take a look" He ended up removing a ton of gunk. The nurse even commented to me that it took him longer than normal.

I don't know what causes it. Maybe all the allergy drugs we take. I just had another CT done after getting my first infection since my surgery. I didn't take any of my meds for 2 days to see if maybe that would help my results any. We'll see.
