How did I get dumb polyps?? - Allergies Message Board

Ok, I had septoplasty and sinus surgery about 1 mo ago. I went for my check up and my ent found some polpys on the side where they operated. FANTASTIC. I thought the surgery was supposed to fix things and not make things worse or cause new things to appear. He gave me flonase. Ive been taking that anyway, so not sure how that will help. I'm not thrilled about this.

Sorry to hear about the polups!! Dont know too much about them except you DONT want them....like you already did't know that!! Sorry I cant be too much help to you but maybe scar tissue from the surgery?? Hope you get some answers soon!!

It is my understanding that allergy and other irritation causes polyps. Maybe as you heal they will go away.
