Question about mixing allergy meds - Allergies Message Board

I took a zyrtec for allergy, then about an hour later without remembering i took a zyrtec, I went ahead and took one pill of Benadryl Severe Allergy. Is it dangerous to mix antihistamines?? I get paranoid about taking meds as it is, so will I be ok? I feel kind of weird right now.

If Your Feeling Really Weird I Would Advise You To Call Your Local Er And Speak With A Nurse For Her Advise. Think Youll Be Ok The Thaught Can Make Things Worse "anxiety"

You'll be fine, but you will probably be rather sleepy for awhile. My allergist actually told me to get some children's benedryl and take one if my allergy shot site swelled up bigger than a quarter. And I take Zyrtec every nite.
