Puffy eyes!!! - Allergies Message Board

Hi everyone I have alot of sinus problems and lately I have been waking up with really puffy eyes. My doctor put me on Flonase yesterday I was wondering do you think this will help with my puffy eyes and my headaches?? Has anyone else had this puffy eye expierience if so anything that may help. Thanks

You need an antihistimine eyedrop. Patanol is a good Rx one, and Opcon-A is a good OTC one. When my alergies really act up, I dab some of the eyedrop on my skin, as well as using it in my eye. It shrinks the skin down nicely.

Thanks Sneezydiva!! I used patanol this spring it was expensive enen with insurance. I will try the Opcon-A and if that does not work I will bite the bullet and get some more patanol. Thanks for the advise of patting some on my skin never thought of that but sounds like it is worth a try.

You're welcome! Just to clarify, because the Patanol is so expensive, I use it only in my eye, and then pat Opcon-A on the skin around it.
