First time post and have question about allergies - Allergies Message Board

I am allergic to pollen. Sometimes will wake up and one eyes is swollen more than the other one. Not taking any allergy medicine right now.

Also, sometime when I cough white phlegm comes out(I know sick huh?)

Just kinda wondering about the eyeswelling thing. Could it be fluid in my sinuses?

Yes sinus pressure on one side can cause that eye to be more swollen than the other. You really want to get on some allergy meds. They will help a lot.

It could also be related to how your sinuses drain. My friend has to have surgery because of her eye swelling shut and a bad headache. It turns out that she had a sinus infection because one side of her sinuses were "plugged" up and her surgery will be to redrill the drain holes in her sinus. You may want to see your doc.
