Hi, I am at wits end. I've always been allergic to dogs, cats and dust and suffer from asthma approx trice a year.. (sneezing and wheezing). I turned 40 in Dec and it seems like I'm falling apart. The problem is pressure in the eyes and head. I'm still not convinced it's allergies being that I have never suffered like this before. At first I thought it was the new computer system we received at work which the screens are brighter and hard to stared at for long periods. Then I thought it might be stress from the job (Law enforcement). I've been to doctor after doctor. I've had 3 catscans, 2 mri's, full physical, several blood work ups, and have had my eyes checked. So far everything is negative. I went to an ent who stated even though I have no swelling in the sinus, it's a sinus problem and he prescribed me 4 different antibiotics until one worked which shot my immune system down. I then went to an allergist who gave me a pneumonia shot to boost my ammune system back up and I am waiting to see him again to see if it worked. The only thing that seems to relieve my symptons is icing my eyes with a frozen gel pack which causes them to tear releiving the preesure and I find myself doing several times a day as a quick fix which allows me to blow my nose even though there is no stuffiness. Also applying pressure to the bridge of my nose with my finger relieves pressure. The last solution is sleep. Is it possible to develop allergies this severe so late in life? If so does anyone have the answer to the cure? Please help!
