Yep alot of foods contain corn syrup. It's just as bad as having an allergy to mold.....There are so many hidden ingredients with names that would never lead you to thinking it contained that allergen. If you search the web for corn allergies it will include those foods that may have corn syrup.
You will diffinently become a label reader. I am because of mold and milk. I was so suprised to find that one of my favorite beverages Dr Pepper had milk in it...disguised.

Candied fruits, canned fruits, and dried fruits that contain corn syrup or HFCS

Fruit desserts that contain corn syrup or HFCS
Ice cream and sherbets that contain corn syrup of HFCS
Flavored yogurts that contain corn syrup or HFCS
Ketchup that contains corn syrup or HFCS
Carmel coloring (may contain corn syrup)
Vanilla extract (many brands contain corn syrup; some brands do not)

Dextrose is common in IV solutions.
Most solid or liquid medicines and dietary supplements contain cornstarch. Inquire to the manufacturer, because excipients (additional ingredients) may not necessarily appear on the label. (be careful when taking meds always ask about the ingredients.)

Corn syrup is often used as a texturizer and carrying agent in cosmetics.
