| Re: What could this be?
What is GAD? Allergies can cause GERD. The constant post nasal drip, which is making your throat sore, can upset your stomach and cause reflux. This happened to my daughter when she was three and taking care of her allergies, and thus, the post nasal drip, took care of the reflux. Also, probiotics (acidophilus, etc.) or just eating yogurt everyday, can help allergies, IBS, and I am assuming fibromylagia. You see, my daughter had leaky gut syndrome and airborne and food allergies since she was a baby and with my research, I learned that if the gut syndrome and food allergies are not dealt with that they will progresss to autoimmune diseases such as IBS and fibromylagia. Probiotics are one of the main treatments for leaky gut (the normal flora is way out of balance). Like I have said in many places on this website, your immune cells are in your gut and if your gut isn't healthy, then neither is your immune system. Regular doctors really need to start appreciating this because I believe they could treat a lot of disease if they would. Good Luck! (I could have sworn that I just saw by your name that you had listed that you had the above diseases. After I posted, then I noticed that all of those abbreviations were gone!?)
