wow, i never thought they could give food allergy injections. that is wonderful news that she is not on her meds!
anyway my test measured both IgA and IgE but all of my reactions were delayed IgA reactions only. So I may never have been able to figure them out since my natureopathic doc said a reaction can take place anywhere from 2 hrs to a couple days. However, every morning i would feel soooo stuffy and clogged with thick mucus in my nose and throat. Everyday I looked as if i had a cold up until 5-6 hrs after waking. I also have been retested for allergy shots and have been on them since age 8, now 23. I also take allegra d.
So if milk is truly the culprit, I drank approx 3 cups everyday in addition to the 40g whey in my shake along with granola bars and cereal containing milk. That is a lot of damage. Eggs were very high IgA reations, and i ate approx 8 egg whites a day, whew
I dont know if eliminating these foods will improve my stuffiness (since allergic reactions to food can be anything from sneezing to fatigue) but it has to do some good for my body. I also tend to get a few bad breakouts, so there is a chance it could improve my skin
