Question NAET anyone?

Hi,
i'm in thie middle of doing this right now and i have alot of questions, i have Vulvodynia and i flare up from severe food sensitivities and the naet seems to be making me flare up worse than i ever have before. I can't really tell if its working on my allergies or not because i'm always in pain. But i'm told it's part of the healing process and that it will pass, but i'm so scared to be making my condition permanently worse. If anyone has gone through anything like this, please post on here.

Re: NAET anyone?

Hi Wishful, yes, my daughter went through this but our alternative doctor has his own version of it called SAT (sensitivity removal technique). There were three groups of foods that she kept getting treated for over and over again. One group especially, the sweetners, she just couldn't get beyond the sensitivity of them. The average patient in his office gets 12 or so treatments. My daughter got 28! We had a 3 hour round trip so I was really getting discouraged. My daughter also had leaky gut so I took her to our excellent massage therapist who did 1/2 hour massages on her abdomen. The therapist said that her gut felt awful and it was uncomfortable for my daughter. We got just a couple of massages and finally my daughter finished her SAT or NAET. She was also getting allergy shots at the time and I couldn't get her to go past once per week with the shots and this improvement happened at the same time. Our immune cells are in our guts so I think that it helped her. Bottom line, I think that the NAET/SAT helped my daughter. She was also getting other therapies at the same time, though.

Hi, You are exactly the person i was hoping would respond to me because i was reading your other posts on this board concerning this topic. Would you tell me please how would i go about checking myself out for the whole leaky gut thing and how i would fix it. because i mentioned it to my mom and she thought it would be surgery and i didnt think that was it. I might even have to quit my job becuse of this and and i dont know where to go from here, i have 3 more treatments before i finish my 15 then about 6 more i need treated, i really want to tick with them but i'm so scared and confused. I'm getting physical therapy for my condition once a week but i cannot tell improvement in that because of these stupid treatments. i go to get treated twice a week do u think i should go down to once a week? maybe that will help.

Re: NAET anyone?

Hi Wishful, my daughter received her SAT treatments once per week but the doc said they could be more frequent but we had a 3 hour round trip so we just managed once per week. I don't know if you should change the frequency? The treatment that I felt made a big difference for my daughter, besides the food allergy shot (LDA), was the Psychosomatic Energetics (PSE). Did you read about this on my previous posts? Do you also have food allergies? I knew my daughter had leaky gut because she was so messed up and she was allergic to almost all food. As you know, regular doctors do not recognize this condition so no one made the diagnosis for us. When we finally found our wonderful alternative doctor he did a stool culture on her which showed how messed up her normal flora was, I guess this finalized the diagnosis more. Are you on probiotics? No, treatment for leaky gut is not surgery. My daughter was treated with the SAT, PSE, Rectal Ozone therapy, and some homeopathic meds to decrease the bad flora that she had in her gut. After her gut healed we gave her the food allergy shots and she was good to go. What physical therapy do you get? Also, what is the name of your doctor. I have a list of good alternative doctors who deal with this issue and there are 8 in Texas.
