Hey folks..........first post here. I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea, and will soon be embracing the CPAP treatment with high hopes of an improved life. It occurred to me that as long as I was making one change for the better (sleep-wise) I might upgrade my bed, as I've been experiencing some comfort issues and want a larger bed as well. Although I've not been diagnosed as dust mite allergic, or even sensitive for that matter, I thought I'd get a bed with some resistance to the dastardly little creatures.

One bed claims to be completely impervious to mites due to mattress composition, while another claims to be *resistant* to mites by virtue of the tight woven casing. I'm having a difficult time deciding which of the two to buy, and am of the mind that I'm likely overthinking this issue since I'm not allergic in the first place. Nevertheless, it's been my experience that I get some of my best advice not from M.D.'s -- but from folks with real-life experiences with medical problems. Any input would be greatly appreciated. And any input with regard to high quality HEPA vacuum cleaners would be appreciated as well. I've searched the forum and done some reading on issues relating to dust mites, but the more info. the better! Thanks greatly in advance for any and all input!
