Smile allergic reaction-Mega greeen-T

I was just curious if there was anyone out there that has had a allergic reaction to the dietary supplement Mega-T. I've had 3 episodes of all over severe body aches, fever, rapid pulse & chest pain. The first time I took it for 2 week & by the end of 2 weeks I couldn't move my head/neck & ran a fever ( at this point I didn't really relate it to the mega-T) I went to the emergency room & they thought I had spinal menegitis.) After testing they concluded I had a viral infection. I was sent home & it took about three days of pain medications until I was feeling back to normal. I wasn't sure that it was related to the Mega-T until I waited 2 weeks to take the pill again & then I had the all over body aches & fever again. I waited almost another 2 weeks & took it again. This time it was even worse with the body aches, fever, chest pain, my heart pounding out of my chest. I'm not sure what ingredient in there I'm allergic to but I know I will NEVER take it again.

Just curious if there is anyone out there that can relate to my story
thanks
a.k.

Re: allergic reaction-Mega greeen-T

Mega T has Guarana, identical with caffeine that speeds up your heart.

It also has Eleuthero. A few websites say not to mix Guarana and Eleuthero together. Eleuthero also known as Siberian “ginseng”*, Ginseng siberiano, but it's not a true ginseng.

Metabolic Enhancement Blend, is as stated on the box 90 mg EGCG and 50 mg naturally-occuring caffeine

Sounds like you are senstitive to alot of things in this pill.

I use to take Xendrine and Hydroxycut when it had the real ephedra in it before the FDA put a ban on it. I'd sweat, shake get, moody, anger easily, lost sleep, until my body started to get use to it. I lost tons of weight on them.

While reading about Hoodia I found out that the "real" Hoodia runs any where from $60 bucks for a little bottle of the liquid stuff to $30 bucks for a bottle of 30 pills. They do not list how much of each ingredient is in the Mega but I am gonna has to say probably not much.

Sorry for your bad experience.

Re: allergic reaction-Mega greeen-T

I've had just regular green tea capsules and they gave me horrible allergy symptoms. I would sneeze a lot and have a stuffy nose all day. I felt miserable.

I dont know if its the mega-t or if I just have the flu, Ive been taking it for 2 weeks, and I have flu like symptoms, vomiting, fever, muscle aches, heart beating out of my chest, and extremely tired, yet jittery, but I have not felt like this intil my second week of taking the pills, I will stop taking them and let you know the results.
