No runny nose, itchy, watery eyes. Allergy?

I have ear fullness, lightheaded, pressure around my head.
Can I still have allergies without the usual runny nose, etc.

Re: No runny nose, itchy, watery eyes. Allergy?

Hi Brando......I have multiple food and respiratory allergies and never have a runny nose. If I have to come off my meds for any reason I would tend to sneeze constantly, have the itchy eyes, feel like I haven't slept in a year. Sometimes stuffed. My food allergies cause gastro distress.

Sounds like sinusittus.. or a sinus infection. Have you recently had a cold or stomach bug.. or some other ailement? Of times a sinus infection developes as a secondary infection to other infections. If it doesn't clear up with an anti-histamine decongestant combination you may need to see a MD and get anti-biotics.

Sincerely,
MG

I know I don't have a sinus infection.
When my allergies are bad, I never get a runny nose, watery eyes, Etc.
I just get pressure in my ears and head. Lightheaded.

Hmm I was thinking allergies these past few days too. But I was tested last year and told my allergies may just be starting.
For 5 days now my congestion has increased like 100%. Sinus pressure, slightly irritated eyes, even sudafed don't work half the time. Dristan nasal spray ineffective also.
I'll go on the Sudafed 12 hr 120mg version till my blood pressure climbs too high, then have to face thinking about surgery.

mkgbrook: did u ever build up a tolerance for sudafed use or was it just as effective years after you started use. I calculated your daily intake at 1200mg x 2. So if you took like 4 or 5 60mg tablets, it didn't do anything for you?
