Lactose Intolerance = Dandruff??
Ever since sometime last year I've had dandruff... Sometimes more sometimes less. I'm very hygienic and shower twice a day using all sorts of anti-dandruff shampoos. Nothing seems to relieve this evil plague
I believe it's caused by lactose intolerance as a short while after any dairy treat I explode in a cloud of dandruff which is both annoying and embarrassing!! Dairy plays an important part in my diet and I really can't be bothered to give it up for a mere annoyance. I have obviously cut back on it but it seems no matter how much I try to avoid it the side affects keep coming back. I've learned to live with it really...Brushing my shoulder has become a reflex now.
I was just wondering if either anyone else suffers from a similar affliction and or knows of some cure or at least a means of relief.
To be honest it depresses me to think that my body uses puffing out dandruff as an immune response to lactose. I think my white blood cells are a nucleus short or something
