Developed an allergy you think?

We have aquired some rabbits that live in our house 24/7, they are very fluffy and malt a lot. We handle them quite a bit. But i have had a cough for about a month or longer that just will not clear up. Im ot wheezy, just a cough which was chesty first now its just loose and tickly and irritating.

Does anyone think I may have developed an allergy to these furry beasts? I havent ever been allergic to an animal before, im allergic to peniccillin, thats it.

Any thoughts, its driving me crazyyyyyyyyy

Re: Developed an allergy you think?

you can be allergic to select animals. I am not allergic to dogs.. somewhat allergic to cats (if they get near my face, thankfully mine sleep on my feet so they don't cause many problems for me), but I found out I'm very allergic to rabbits when a few years ago after visiting a friend with 3 rabbits (and I HAD to cuddle them they were so cute!) I wound up having a very bad allergic reaction to them. As for the cough, hard to positively say. How long have the rabbits been in your house?
