Unhappy itchy red bumps on face...

well,i m 38 yrs, till two yrs ago i never had problems with anything as far as my face was concerned, two yrs ago on one of my regular facial trips to a salon,after the mask,my whole face turned red,itchy,and had mosquito bite like bumps all over the face......i would like to say that this is the same place i had been going for yrs.......i had to put ice on my face to cool it down coz it felt as if some heat was coming out of my face, it did get normal by the next morning.....................and since that time,i cannot use any cream,any mask,any beauty product on my face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my face looks dull all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know dust is one cause,but sometimes it just causes it and i dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can anyone help??????????? i checked with dermatologists who just give me some allergy medicines and topical creams to put on..........but i m so scared even to use those on my face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can someone tell me what is happening?????????????????? ANY HELP????????????????????

It is dreadful having skin allergies, isn't it? I pretty much don't put anything on my face, ever, except gentle soap.

The allergy pills should help. As for the topical cremes, the next time you get the rash, try the creme on one area of the rash. If that area improves, the creme helps. If it gets worse, throw it out.

Some things that trigger my skin rashes:

Some hair conditioner
Dust or pollen
Laundry detergents, certain soaps, etc.
Some sunscreens or moisturizers.
