| Eye Allergy Relief Drops made my eye red!
I have a problem with itchy eyes, usually due to seasonal allergies I think, but also to dust when I'm doing a thorough cleaning in the house. Well, I cleaned my bedroom last weekend, and then my eyes got itchy like they usually do from the dust, except the next morning I woke up and my right eye was very red and more itchy than usual. It stayed itchy all day but the redness went away eventually. That night I woke up at about 2 AM, and my eye was so itchy I almost couldn't stand it. And of course I couldn't rub it because that just makes it worse. It took about 15 minutes to fall back to sleep, but when I woke up in the morning, it wasn't itchy at all! But then it started itching again slowly after that, and both eyes have been itchy ever since. I usually suffer through it, but I decided to try some allergy relief eye drops. The first time I used them, they made my eyes sting a little (though the directions say it may make your eyes "tingle" at first). The itching never went away, and then a couple hours later I looked in the mirror and I have a red spot in my left eye that wasn't there before (when I look closely it's an area with a bunch of those tiny capillaries).
Anyway, has this happened to anyone before with the drops? The kind I got says it contains Pheniramine Maleate and Naphazoline Hydrochloride. Is there maybe another kind I could try?
