Exclamation I need your help!

I have a lot of contact allergies. - after having a patch test by my dermatologist, I have been diagnosed as being allergic to:
  • Parabens/hydrobenzoates mix (methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben)
  • Nickel
  • Balsam of Peru
  • Fragrance Mix II (Citral, citronellol, farnesol, coumarin, alpha-hexyl-cinnamaldehyde, hydroxymethylpentylcyclohexenecarboxalde hyde, lacto/lactone, rodinol, cinnamic aldehyde)

I also believe I am allergic to other things that were not discovered on my test, as I have stayed away from these things in my shampoo/conditioner/shower cleansers and have still had a reaction.

I have been diagnosed with many different types of eczema, starting from when I was around 4 years old (almost 20 years ago) and the most recent diagnoses were:
  • chronic hand eczema
  • severe atopic eczema
  • pompholyx
  • contact allergic dermatitis

But I do get reactions all over my body, although the eczema does tend to stay localised to my hands and feet these days.

I have had a lot of trouble finding toiletries such as shampoos, conditioners, body washes, soaps, laundry detergents etc and was wondering if you could give me some advice as to what you use. My main problem other than shampoo, I think, is a razor. I am allergic to nickel and have been using the Titanium Quattro (I believe it's called something else in America but I forget what is is) but it's still only titanium-coated and so still causes problems - I can't use wax etc due to my other allergies! I leave my legs 'til the last possible moment to shave because I hate the pain and itchiness but I just want to feel pretty!

I'd really appreciate a response from anyone else who may be able to help!

Re: I need your help!

Did your Dermatologist have any recommendations for you? I have extremely sensitive skin (a lot of bath and body products make me itchy and red) and my Dermatologist gave me a bunch of samples of sensitive skin products to try. I use Cetaphil face wash and lotion.
