I am very sensitive to medicines and have tried so many medicines over the years--pills and sprays and end up with side affects.
I switched from zyrtec to allegra 2 days ago. I also took a mucus thinner last night. VERY nauseated and will not take that combo again.
This past weeks has been terrible. today I have had some relief but forecasts show the count will be back up Tuesday. Today, I had this stunned feeling of not quite believing how sick this has made me. This is unbelievable!

this for the record is the worst i ever suffered! what if it goes to the lungs do you see a doctor. i have seen the doctors so many times this year. my lungs feel like they are burning
My allergist is calling me tomorrow for an appt on Monday. I would say, if it is in your lungs that you should get to see the doctor.
Mine episode started with major sneezing, runny nose, itchy/runny eyes then BAM--ridiculous does not describe how I have been feeling. It is like it is was when I first got diagnosed in 1998.
Mine is in my chest and sinuses too--only thing that is saving me is at least the mucus is moving and I am able to get it out. I have a heavy duty massage thingy that I use to basically pound on my chest and carefully in sinus area.
I have been hitting the neti-pot hard as well to rinse out the allergens and avoiding going outside if I can.
One thing is for sure--everything is blooming! Trees, weeds and grass. Throw in some mold and my goodness, get ready to be sick for a while.
Hope you feel better and are able to get some relief.
The pollen levels have been through the roof here lately - I need to get an appointment with the allergist because my usual medications are not even making a dent and my asthma has been acting up something fierce.
Yep, I used to have severe seasonal allergies. I had allergy shots a few years back and it took care of it until now. Currently, either my shots are wearing off. Or it is as you say, things are just much worse this year...
