RE HappyDogs ALLERGY AND JOINT PAIN

I have experienced the same problem , I had an allergic reaction followed by Corticosteriod treatment and experienced joint pain from joint to joint day to day, DO YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE? The Doctor says its not artheritis and my blood work is normal? Please help if you can, Thanks Jim

What was the reaction to? What is it that you are allergic to that antihistamines didn't work and steroids were called for?

Re: RE HappyDogs ALLERGY AND JOINT PAIN

Hi,
Many years ago I was prescribed Steroids for Asthma and a chest infection.
I was on them for two/three weeks and when I came off them every bone and joint in my body pained me. It all went after a few weeks and all I could relate it to was that Steroids are a powerful anti-inflamatory and that my symptoms were a side effect.
I'm sure your joint pains will subside shortly.
All the best,

Solofelix.
