| Heat Rash That Comes and Goes?
Hello! For the last few months I have been experiencing a heat rash type rash that comes and goes mostly on my arms (inside my elbows), wrists (again, on the inside of my arm primarily) and chest/neck area. The weird thing is, it comes on suddenly, is very itchy and red (but not usually raised) and then goes away within 5-10 minutes sometimes a few more or less. I've also been noticing lately that when I wake up my face has red dots on it mostly around my eyes, cheeks and nose that don't really itch but my face does look irritated. They are mostly faded by the end of the day but are still sometimes faint and can be seen in the evening. Could this be an allergic reaction to something? I take Valtrex 1x/day for HSV-2 but no other regular medication. Also, I have a husky that I moved in with (my boyfriends dog) about 6 months ago but the rash comes on at times that I'm not in the house (like in the grocery store or at work) so I'm not sure I can blame the dog.
