If you look at the molecular make up there is a link to some degree to many drugs. ONe example is the warning on Diovan, a BP med, and celebrex, an anti-inflammatory. Both have warnings about allergies to sulfa drugs because they don't know how slight the connection may be that will cause a reaction in SOME people. Therefore the warning. However, although my sister and I both have allergies to aulfa drugs, she tolerates the celebrex well and I had no problem with Diovan. Each to their own.
