my allergen test results

Its confusing to me but iv some what figured out what they mean I know peanuts have strong affect on me and they are at a .49 level so I know that my allergies are very sensitive to the ones I have listed at the bottom.
Most are low or moderate level.

Walnut IGE 0.63

cat dander IGE...0.80

Aspergillus Fumigatus Ige 0.59

Peanut IGE 0.49

The highest are.....

Ragweed IGE 1.47
D. Farinae (Mite) Ige 2.30
D. Pteronyssinus Ige 1.94

Dog dander Ige is 0.35 which means its not present....

So why is it when I'm at my friends house who has a small dog my chest gets tight and my eyes get itchy and watery???? It it the room had a lot of dust mites or the mites are on the dog who continuously pollinates the house with them? and not so much the dander? But the mites living in the room, and on the pet....??

Re: my allergen test results

Blood testing for environmental allergens is typically not as reliable as the skin scratch test. Blood testing is more reliable for food allergies. I know the skin scratch test is uncomfortable but it is more precise. I would do it also and then compare the results.
