Facial pain from allergies?

I have been having a horrible allergy year (as are many), but I have some symptoms I can't figure out

I have facial pain, especially in the cheekbones, and primarily on my left side. My teeth are sensitive, my gums almost feel sore (although they look fine), and I get headaches throughout the day in my temples.

I don't have any evidence of a sinus infection: no discharge, major congestion (although I am always a bit congested).

I am also tired and having a hard time functioning.

Does anyone here experience this with bad allergies (mine are horrible)? What can treat it?

That probably is a sinus thing. Even if you don't have a runny or stuffy nose, your sinuses can still be swollen and painful.

A steroid nasal spray might be a good solution, those are by prescription. Or just rinsing the sinuses with saline can help.

Have you talked to your dentist about this? An infected tooth can raise holy havok with a person and it is often not picked up in an x-ray. I had one for some time and was having all sorts of problems until we got to the root of it and it was nothing but an infection below the tooth.

It could still be a sinus issue. Jane gave you some good advice.
