Need help understanding

Hi Guys

The last 2 years in the fall I have been getting very sick, not sinus infections but more stomach related illness and chills but no fever. I have been to a GI and had 2 colonoscopies and the first showed colitis the second showed nothing. My GI thinks the first was a miss read, and I am not on meds.

I do have bad, very bad out door allergies to Rag Weed and Mold. I get three shots a week and I am on prescription meds and nose sprays. The problem I am having is my stomach, it seems when the rag weed pollon is very high get achy and an upset stomach. Starts from the first thing in the morning, I have a little bit of D and then I am sick to my stomach the rest of the day.

Does anyone else get this? My GI thinks it is my allergies and my allergist thinks it could be the back drip that makes me ill but I am at my wits end. It is almost debilitating

Very well could be PND. I have to have a cup of tea and a piece of toast when I get up or my stomach does back flips. And no milk - even on cereal - until you've had something else solid to eat. No way I could do milk first thing in the AM.

Sounds like you have a heavy post nasal drip. All that mucus going into your stomach can and will cause nausea including vomiting and D. I have to force myself to eat in order to feel better give my stomach something other than mucus to digest. Lots of tums and Zantac as well it sucks. My ENT gave me singulair it helps a lot for pnd

Re: Need help understanding

Thanks. yeah the last time I was at my allergy doctor he used the nasal scope and told me I have a heavy wall of mucous on the back wall of my sinus cavity and I think that when the allergies are really bad or I spend a lot of time outside I get sick the next day. Sucks, because I am going on a golf trip in October and I fear this may cause me some issue. Also it just makes me feel terrible while at work....

Re: Need help understanding

If you drink plain aloe vera juice, you will find it helps a LOT!! go to a store like T. Joe's; I have been told they have it. I take the pill form and buy it elsewhere. Had TERRIBLE stomach problems and do have HORRIBLE allergies. The pills I take have really helped with the stomach. If you find something that helps allergies, I would love to know because this has been a HORRIBLE year!
