Hayfever (pollen), facial muscle tightness

Anyone suffering this year, do you get random post nasal drip and neck, face muscle tightness? I heard this can happen for those with a severe pollen allergy? Since 2012 is record breaking I assume this is why my allergies are gravely over reacting? My post nasal drip and neck/ muscle tightness is truely random, like as if a wave of what I'm allergic to hits me, then sometimes 1 hour later ill be almost normal. The major spells stopped when it stopped being 44c outside, but I'm still getting hits and its oct ??

Re: Hayfever (pollen), facial muscle tightness

Yes, my allergies and muscle tension seem to go hand in hand and are very severe right now.

I heard on the news that this is a horrible year for pollen due to the mild winter last year and the hot summer or some such.

When my sinus's are really bad - I will have terrible neck and facial pain - not sure why!

Recently, I was diagnosed by an ENT with deviated septum; chronic infection/inflammation and a bone spur in my sinus. Considering surgery!

But back to you - definitely pollen is still bad right now.
