Developing a Smokeless Tobacco Allergy?

I have been using dip for a little over three years and recently I have noticed slight tongue swelling and occasional itching on the tip of my tongue. Could this be from the tobacco or is it totally unrelated?

I would see a doctor ASAP. You may have an allergy or it could be the beginning of cancer.
