Hey everyone

First off I would like to apologize for the possible mistakes in spelling&grammar, english is not my native language.
Ok so I've been searching around for a diagnosis or treatment for these damn hives that have been pestering me for the past 8 years now (I'm 25). Some small history:
It started all of the sudden 8 years ago, visited quite a few allergy doctors, dermatologists, dozens alergens tests, no results and no real diagnostic for what triggers it, just "chronic urticaria".
Hives all over the body, followed by swelling of face, hands. No respiratory problems or anything like that. I have always been able to control it by taking only one pill of Xyzal, that usually does it for the next 24 hours. So I just take them as soon as I suspect hives are kicking in so I basically never get them at all.
For the first three years I got them every day, then it stopped all of the sudden. Since then it's been on and off 3-4 months daily hives, 1-2 months none at all. I've tried to look for a pattern - seasons or something but it really feels completely random.
I've grown used to it and Xyzal works everytime. But I'm curious to hear some thoughts and experiences from other people who have this problem, is there any hope of a "cure", is there any danger just continuing popping pills like skittles without actually knowing what's causing this?
I've tried several very strict diets, for 1-2 months at a time with absolutely no effect on the condition...
Thank you for reading
TLDR: Chronic Recurrent Urticaria for the past 8 years - don't know what's causing it (tried diet and alergens testing) - any ideeas on what else I could do ?
