Has anyone ever had pressure on top of their head?

my symptoms are as follows:

Wake up stuffed up...
Pressure on top of head, feels like a band....comes and goes.....worsens with movement sometimes...sometimes pain behind my eyes feels like sinus..or forehead....feel like i could pop my ears..just did by yawning.....one of my ears hurt the other day.

Oh and felt pressure at temples today while in the car.

what i'm taking claritin/asteopro/nasonex

Try rinsing your nose with a good saline solution. If you go on the Internet, you wil find solutions that are made for this purpose. Be careful not to use just salt water or any old mix because you can damage the membranes. If you do this twice a day, you may find relief.

I DEFINITELY think you should try it out because you have nothing to lose! the sinuses can raise all sorts of trouble with people. When they are out of whack, which mine are, they can cause the vessels in your head to swell, which will cause imbalance, foggy thinking and you name it. Try looking up Neil Rinse and it is not expensive, but if you get it, make sure you get the solution that goes with it because it will not damage the membranes in your nose. As I think I said, rinse twice a day and you may see improvement. I have had allergies for years and this has been one of the worst seasons due to the change in climate and the rains, which bring out all the wonderful mold. I went biking, yesterday, when there was a pinch of wind and paid for it!

Re: Pressure on top of Head

Suzy Q,that's a pretty common occurrence with me ! Changes in the weather seem to bring on some of those symptoms with me.I use a nasal irrigator daily.Looks like a waterpik.i use 1tsp. kosher picking salt.i have used prepared packages as well as adding a pinch of baking soda.I've also put a few drops of oil of oregano in there as well as its an antifungal.Ouch ! I have found that the irrigation does reduce pressure and at least keeps me free from infection. All the best to you !
