Hi,
"bitters" before a meal may help, also. Personally, I use the outer leaves of broccoli or cauliflower. 1-2 leaves, WELL chewed, usually helps me. But, you can buy things like swedish bitters, and I'm sure, others.
Another thing you might try is flax seed. Gring it fresh and sprinle on cereal, yogurt, ice cream, whatever. Or just grind and eat, that's how my daughter does it. Start with 1 teaspoon, and build up to 2 tablespoons per day. Flax has excellent demulcent (soothing) properties, as well as an aid to bowel regularity, gas, bloating, and cleansing. Flax is also loaded with Omega 3 & 6 oils.
Marshmallow (plant, NOT candy!), a tablespoon mixed with hot water and allowed to sit a few minutes to thicken, then eaten, also works well to sooth the stomache and gas. A sprinkle of cinnamon on top enhances the bland taste, and is also good for the tummy.
Hope this helps some. Good luck!
