While having an anxiety attack, trying how to get through it can be tuff. Depending on where I am while having an attack makes all the difference in the world. If I'm in traffic and could cause harm to myself or others while in a panic attack, I reach for one of two Nature's Sunshine Product's which I carry in a first aid box in my truck. The other is called Nervousness and it's a homeopathic product, which will also give calmness in a very short time period. If your not in a harmful place, try concentrating on your breathing to calm yourself down, it's a little hard to concentrate on your breathing while concentrating driving. Listen to your breathing and center on slowing it down, it works!
