For urinary problems such as that, I have had great result with "Marshmallow Root". I made these herbal teas from bulk herbs, about one ounce at a time in about a quart or two of water (about 1 to 2 liters or so). I brought the herbal combinations to a boil in a covered pot, and simmered for about an hour and a half. I made enough to last about three or four days. The herbal solution is to be stored in the refrigerator to prevent spoilage. I also used "Queen of the Meadow" and "Damiana" too.
Herbs are quite slow in healing, and I think that it's best to change to a healthy diet at the same time. (Also avoid alcohol, and processed sugary refined foods etc.) It's best to do some research on it, consult your doctor, and take notes to determine whether or not the herbal treatment is good for you.
With herbs, sometimes the conditions will get slightly worse at first, then start improving over weeks at a time. Herbal therapy can be quite a science and difficult to understand, but they saved me from extreme pain and discomfort at one point in my life.
