body detoxification - Alternative Medicine Message Board

Hi!
I would really like to detoxify my body as a way to begin to feel better, eat better, live better, etc. Does anyone have an suggestions for a simple means of detoxification, a type of fast, or something like this that would help be achieve these goals? Any information would be very helpful. Thanks!

I've tried something called the Master Cleanser fast. (Run "Master Cleanser through your search engine - it's also called the Lemonade Diet. Also Yahoo Groups has a mailing list about it.)

I've never done it for the 10 days they prescribe, but I do it periodically for a couple of days at a time.

Hi Kat1680, type "ZAND" into a search engine. They sell an excellent herbal cleanse called "Ouick Cleanse". Costs about $25, easy to do, and VERY gentle.

The only way that I know of to completely detox the body of poisons is by going on a 7 day fast (vegetable juice fasting preferred). I've done this about 7 times in the past 25 years and it works. After the first two days, the toxins will come pouring out of your body and this will go on for several days. While going through your vegetable juice fast drink huge amounts of distilled water and nothing else. Before going on a 7 day fast educate yourself by purchasing a book on fasting or look for information on the internet. BREAKING THE FAST IS VERY IMPORTANT - BE CERTAIN YOU KNOW EXACTLY HOW THIS IS DONE.
