Eczema Help
Hi,
I hope you might be able to help me?
I have a friend, who I have been treating homeopathically, but I just wondered if you could help me with a few possible herbal remedies?
As far as I am concerned, she is a typical Sulphur constitution and I treated her with this and then its related nosode with some success. She has eczema on her eyelids, under her arms, some patches on her legs and in her ears. This is dry, but very itchy however and her eyelids become exacerbated when she goes into the sunlight. She has changed to using soya products and has cut out dairy and has stopped using antiperspirant now, as she feels that this makes her armpits worse.
She also has problems with painful periods and was taking conventional meds for this. However, I sent her some Colocynth and these worked for her, but were short lived and she has just told me that they are worse than ever now. I have sent her some Mag Phos to try now.
All her symptoms are very much made worse by stress. She works as an RN on the wards and is currently studying for an MS, so in between shifts and academic work, she does not look after herself particularly well at all. She is working at present and trying to get a lit review finished, so this means no sleep and bad diet and surprise surprise, her skin has flared up again and her periods are very bad.
Homeopathically, I have changed her remedy from Sulphur, as I feel that she has a layer of another remedy imposed on top of this at present that needs removing, so I have given her this, plus the other remedy for the period pains.
I feel that she would probably benefit from a full detox?
Any ideas for herbal remedies for the eczema, the period pains and the stress levels? Maybe something calming. Although she never really panics, she does leave everything to the very last minute, so that she has to stay up for nights on end to finish the work and because of this, she does not bother to eat properly and then goes to work a shift on the ward in an exhausted state. I then see her and she looks absolutely washed out and terrible, but you can't tell her.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
Thanks.
