Yes, there's lots of herbs for this. My favorite is raw garlic. I've had three bouts of the flu or a bad head cold this month, and thanks to the garlic, I've recovered each time quickly (with very little missed time off from work). I take one or two good-sized cloves each day, and mix with my food. It must be raw, or it will lose its medicinal properties. Garlic has been called "Russian penicillin". It's been known for a long time, of how good it is for healing and fighting infections.
Freshly squeezed lemons and limes with oranges are good too (this should also help neutralize the garlic odor). Don't buy processed juices. Make your own from the fruit...because it's best that way...and consume it right after making the juice...so that you benefit the most from the Vitamin C. The fiber is good too, so be sure to include that with your juice to make it "pulpy".
Also chamomile and ginger tea is good to help with a runny nose. I used to sip my tea during the mornings, to help me feel better. With infections like these, lots of rest, and a good healthy diet (of mostly non-processed foods) are important. And of course, if it gets a lot worse, seeing a doctor is good too.
There's more...let's see what some of the others have to say, about herbs that have helped them.
