I agree wholeheartedly with Ben!
I, too, wanted to save my GB but the stone was too large and calcified. There are some chiropractors who specialize in adjustments in conjunction with the flush to help pass the stones. This is especially successful if the stones are small.
I have had nothing but problems since having my GB removed in 93'. Within 3 months of having my GB removed I developed 2 different chronic immune disorders. Contrary to what some MD's might have you believe, we need "all" of our organs. If at all possible, I would do everything to try to save it. Without an organ an imbalance is created in your inner operating system, which has far-reaching effects, not only physically, but in other ways as well. In Chinese medicine, each organ is also related to a particular emotion. The GB is that which processes anger. Without the GB, it is as if anger has no place to go or no way to be adequately processed.
Do as much research as you can before making your decision.
Best,
Peregrine
