Healing Touch?

Has anyone tried healing touch therapy before? What are the benefits of it? My counselor reccommended it rather than taking medication for migraines and for anxiety and stress. She also said it could help with emotion trauma. Is this true? I like this natural approach but kind of not so sure if its real.

Re: Healing Touch?

It is interesting that you should bring this up. While I am not sure about healing touch, I am considering finding out more about it. I have tried acupunture for headache reduction and low back pain. THis certainly help reduce the intensity of the headaches so that now I don't need to load up on medications. But, I am planning surgery within the next month and am really interested in healing or therapeutic touch. I will try to get back with you on this...thanks for sparking a thought...chris

Question Re: Healing Touch?

Excuse me, what exactly is this therapy? Would massage fall into this category?
